The Rawlins County High School Entrepreneurship Fair took place on Wednesday, March 4th, bringing together 17 Business Ideas and 35 students for an exciting day of innovation and competition. Sponsored by NetWork Kansas and Rawlins County Economic Development, the event showcased the entrepreneurial talent and creativity of local students. Each team presented its business idea to a panel of five selected judges and answered questions about their concepts. Judges evaluated each team based on both their oral presentation and their written business plan. Students had the opportunity to earn up to $2,100 in prizes.
“All the students who participated were great representatives of our community, and it was amazing to see the talent our students have. They all have bright futures ahead of them!” Joseph Sramek

A&E Beauty Bar and Brew was named the overall winner of the competition. The team now has the opportunity to advance to the State Competition at Kansas State University on April 28th and 29th.
