Rawlins County 7th graders toured the Rock Creek Fish Hatchery in Parks, NE. The water supply from the headwaters from Rock Creek allows for the production of both coolwater and warmwater species. The hatchery annually produces rainbow and brown trout, wiper, rock bass, redear sunfish, grass carp, plains topminnow, pearl dace, yellow perch and fathead minnow. JH Robotics Attend Competition

The Rawlins County JH robotics team competed at the 2018 NW KS Lego Robotics Competition held on the campus of FHSU on April 16th. They have spent the semester learning about the science, mathematics and technology that is takes to program, design and build a robot. Each event had specifications that they had to adjust to.
