We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Midwest Energy, ACE Foundation, and Dane G. Hansen for their generous support of our ukulele program. Their commitment to strengthening communities and supporting the arts has made a meaningful and lasting impact.

Because of your contributions, we have been able to provide instruments and an exciting challenge for our students. The ukulele program has brought joy, connection, and confidence to our upper elementary students, and that would not be possible without their support.

Your belief in our mission inspires us to continue expanding access to music and enriching lives through shared creative experiences. Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more vibrant community through music.

With sincere appreciation,
Paul Daldegan

2026 FHSU Art Show - Hays, KS
What a FUN DAY with a GREAT group of kids!! There were 72 schools from across the state and 1,300 student artists that had artwork displayed from across the state of Kansas!!! We got to see some amazing work and get new ideas to take home and try! The FHSU art department had demonstrations for the kids to see and they even got to try new techniques!
Each booth is judged by a panel of three judges. We ended up with 36 awards as a school over all!
Results are as follows:
Xanthier Brenn 1st place in Booth
Jazmin Rodriguez 2nd place in Booth
Xara Brenn 3rd place in Booth
Numerous students earned honorable mentions.
Xanthier Brenn received 3rd place Overall in the FHSU art show and was awarded a $500 scholarship. This was a big achievement due to the amount of artwork on display today!
Congratulations to all our artists!! 🧑‍🎨 🖼️ 🎨

The Rawlins County High School Entrepreneurship Fair took place on Wednesday, March 4th, bringing together 17 Business Ideas and 35 students for an exciting day of innovation and competition. Sponsored by NetWork Kansas and Rawlins County Economic Development, the event showcased the entrepreneurial talent and creativity of local students. Each team presented its business idea to a panel of five selected judges and answered questions about their concepts.
