Junior High Basketball Tonight
The Rawlins County Jr/Sr High music program will take place on Sunday December 8, 2024 at 3:00pm in the RCES gymnasium.
There will be a special board of education meeting on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. in the District Conference Room at the elementary school.

RCHS Math Department competed in the 2024 Math Relays at Fort Hays State University today! The 9th grade team placed 8th and 10th in two separate events and Shaun Lare placed 9th in an individual event!

✨ Ready, Set, Glow Family Night Shines Bright! ✨
Our Ready, Set, Glow Family Night was a glowing success! Families gathered for an evening filled with fun, learning, and a little bit of neon magic. From the exciting glow-in-the-dark activities to engaging interactive stations, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Kids and parents alike joined in on games, arts and crafts, and a variety of hands-on experiences designed to promote creativity and teamwork. The community spirit was vibrant, with everyone coming together to celebrate learning in a fun and welcoming environment.
A big thank you to all the volunteers, teachers, and staff who helped bring this night to life. Their hard work and dedication made it possible for families to share these memorable moments together. We’re already looking forward to our next event—thanks to everyone who joined us to make Ready, Set, Glow unforgettable!

We need to remind the community that if a school bus has it's stop arm extended and it's red lights flashing, other vehicles are to stop when approaching or overtaking a school bus. We've had a couple of incidents of driver's not stopping when buses have been unloading, but have been unable to catch the license plate numbers of those vehicles. Our drivers are aware of the situation and will be recording license plate numbers of vehicles that unlawfully pass a stopped school bus and we will be passing that information along with video proof to the sheriff's department.
