Mrs. Portschy's Biographical Information: I am a 1985 graduate of Stockton High School. I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1990 with a BS in Elementary Education (grades Kindergarten-9th grade) . I also have the Middle School endorsement for English grades 5-9. I taught 1st and 2nd grade at Herndon School for 14 years. Upon the consolidation of our schools, I began teaching Language Arts 7-8-9 in 2004. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, gardening, golfing and spending time with family and friends. I am married to Dean and we have two sons, Marcus and Neil. |

Welcome back to School! I am looking forward to a fantastic year full of fun and excitement! The Language Arts classes of 7th-8th-9th graders will be working on skills in Literature, Grammar, Writing, Vocabulary and Spelling. Supplies needed for Language Arts for the 2018-2019 school year include: 2 inch binder, notebook paper, 70-page spiral notebook, 5 tab dividers, and pencils.
