McCook Community Hospital Career Day
The McCook Community Hospital Career Day was held on Wednesday, January 30th. This is an annual event that shows area students many different careers that are associated with the medical field. Each student attends 6 session, all of which are very hands on. Some of the sessions were CPR, Emergency, Labor & Delivery, Occupational, Physical, & Speech Therapy, Physician Assistant, & Nurse Anesthetist. All of these sessions are taught by McCook Hospital personnel. Breakfast, lunch, & a snack are provided as well as each student receives a door prize every year. “This is an activity we attend every year and our students look forward to it” said Jacque Leitner. Students that participated this year were: Amy Crouse, Emily Trail, Cecelia Skolout, Nash Dunker, Brea Lankas, Ceanne Schroeder, Maddie Livas, & Gabbie DeWaal.
