Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year! We are thrilled to open our doors once again and begin another exciting chapter of learning, growth, and community. Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we look forward to a productive, safe, and inspiring year ahead.
To ensure a smooth and successful start, we kindly ask all families to review the important policies and procedures that guide our school community.
School begins each day at 8:10AM and students are allowed in the building no earlier then 7:45AM. At the end of the day the bus bell rings at 3:30PM and everyone else is dismissed at 3:40PM. Student pick up and drop off is on 8th street. Band students eating breakfast can be dropped off at the grade school in the morning and will be bussed back up after first hour. Those band students not eating breakfast can be dropped at the high school to catch the bus down to the grade school.
Attendance is very important! Our new messaging system will text or call if you have not called your student in before 8:20AM. Please communicate with the office at (785)626-3289 or email Marcy & Melissa if your student will be absent for any reason. The full attendance policy can be found in our student handbook on page 4.
