January is School Board Recognition Month
For over 150 years, Kansas school boards have been at the heart of public education. This legacy continues today with nearly 2,000 board members serving in 286 school districts, making decisions that shape the future for nearly 500,000 students across the state.
At USD 105, we are fortunate to have dedicated school board members who go above and beyond for our students, staff, and community. Their leadership ensures our schools are places where students can thrive, staff feel supported, and opportunities abound.
School board members volunteer countless hours to advocate for education, provide direction, and uphold the vision of our community. Their commitment truly makes a difference in the lives of every student and family they serve.
This month, please join us in saying thank you to our school board members for their service, dedication, and partnership in building a brighter future.
Members from Left to Right - Matt Finley, David "Wiener" Horinek, Jordan Dunker, Terry Ballard, Tim McFee, Amber Timm, Megan Rippe
