7th Grade Life Skills Class

    The 7th grade Life Skills class worked on team building skills while participating in numerous activities this past week.Some of the activities were number sequence, brain teasers, human knot, and the most popular, the human maze. Students had to organize a human maze and then one student had to guide another student while blindfolded!

Installation of New Water bottle coolelr/Filler Stations at the High Shcool Almost Complete

    Through the combined monetary support of the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Program (via our local ACE Foundation advisory committee) and Midwest Energy, Inc.,  Susan Brenn, the high school Social Studies teacher,  was able to receive two grants which enabled the installation of three new water bottle cooler/filler stations at the high school. Mock City Council Meeting

    Mrs. Klein's 7th grade Social Studies class participated in a "Mock City Council Meeting". Each student took on a role and became the members of the Atwood City Council. The students were able to learn about local government and the inner workings of the Atwood City Council. Mayor Colgan, City Clerk Keri Riener and Police Chief Withington graciously gave up their time and assisted the students . . .
