Nature Walk Get Spring Cleaning
Rawlins County sixth graders and high school Ag students spent an hour in the heat Monday, May 13 working at the Hayden Nature Trail. The students cleared debris off weed barriers, and staked cages over shrubs to protect the shrubs from rabbits and deer. "Teacher-To-Be" Does Reading Internship
Mrs. Martin's 5th grade class has enjoyed having Mrs. Lacy Walker in the classroom this nine weeks. She has been doing her FHSU Reading internship, and gaining experience in the reading classroom. Mrs. Walker is working on her teaching degree through Fort Hays, and is currently a para in the RCES Resource Room. read more

On May 8th, 2013, the 7th grade class took a field trip learning about historic sites around Rawlins County.
