Emma Hagler competes at the State Spelling Bee

RCES Crop winners Today these kids earned tee shirts for their great behavior. They go above and beyond the norm in Character, Respect, Oganizational skills, and Perseverance which is what CROP stands for!!!  Kids earn punches on a Crop card and then enter a drawing. These kids were the top earners for their classes which means great effort for all of them!!!   RCES CROP Winners   . . .

Sophia Ginther performs in Wichita

  Congrats to Sophie Ginther for being selected to the all state TREBLE choir . She performed on February 23 at the Century II in Wichita with 256 other singers after 3 days of extensive rehearsals. Congrats, Sophie!    Sophia's Picture

Mr. Tom Bliss presented his "Last Indian Raid in KS" presentation

  Mr. Tom Bliss presented his "Last Indian Raid in KS" presentation to the 6th and 7th graders along with over 20 community members on Tuesday, Feb 26th at RCHS. He gave a fascinating but real glimpse into what early Rawlins County settlers had to endure while dealing with meandering Native Americans. Specifically the band of the Northern Cheyenne tribe who brutally attacked and killed 12 Rawlins County . . .
