NWKL Art Show 2023 - Dighton, KS
Congratulations to art 4 student at Rawlins County High School - Mariyah Nichols on winning the overall Best of Show on her painting “Own Your Truth: Strive to Overcome”!!! What an honor! This young artist had an AMAZING day as she also won 1st and 2nd place as well!!! Xavia Brenn received 3rd place on her sculpture “Nature Goddess”! I am so proud of ALL our art students - we have a good show! We will be attending another art show in Hays later this month and will host our local show the first week of May - so lots of exciting things coming up!
**I need to say a special HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Kathy Leitner for helping me out by taking some art students and setting up the art show booth for me this year so I could go to Branson to watch my daughter Xavia perform with consort as the opening act for the Haygoods! Thank you so much for making it all possible!
