The third grade class visited the story walk Friday, October 9th to tie in what they had been learning in class. The story, How Big Could Your Pumpkin Grow, helped the kids reinforce skills about different text features they learned in reading, and about giant pumpkins they learned about in science. The kids also collected fun adjectives from each page that they will use in future class assignments. We are very thankful for such a great activity the public library provides for all our readers in town! Be sure to check out a new story each month!
