Mr. Tom Bliss presented his "Last Indian Raid in KS" presentation to the 6th and 7th graders along with over 20 community members on Tuesday, Feb 26th at RCHS. He gave a fascinating but real glimpse into what early Rawlins County settlers had to endure while dealing with meandering Native Americans. Specifically the band of the Northern Cheyenne tribe who brutally attacked and killed 12 Rawlins County settlers in 1878
