Animals visit the Rawlins County Elementary School
On Tuesday, January 15th a snake, two bats, & a ferret visited the Rawlins County Grade School from the Rolling Hills Zoo. This was made possible by a Dane G. Hansen grant and the program called “Zoo to You”. This program is free to all schools in Northwest Kansas. Grades K-8 enjoyed taking turns learning about these three animals and about how all animals use adaptation to survive.
