Rawlins County Junior High Football started out with a win. They played an eight man game due to injuries. It was the first full eight man game played in Atwood. The coaches marveled at the changes the kids have made from last year to this year, they have improved so much. They team played with passion and purpose. “At the end of the day it felt more like a track meet than a football game” said head coach Steve Woody. This was a first step in pursuing our goals for the year but still know we have a lot of work to do. Woody stated, “We may not have many, but what we do have, play like many.”
