RCHS Alumni Helps to Fund Photo Restoration Project
Last spring, the graduates of 2009 began a project to protect the state champion photos displayed at RCHS. The photos have been scanned and retouched and saved as digital files. That segment of the project was paid for by the graduates of 2009. Those files were then sent to be enlarged to 11x14 to match the size of the most recent champion photos. The new prints were paid for by the RCHS Alumni Association. Currently, several teachers are volunteering their time to finish the project.
There were several photos that were terribly faded and nearly not able to restore. One of those is shown as before and after.
The project will continue to completion so that photos may be hung in the new addition to RCHS that includes a commons area.
